March BoxyCharm Review

I’m always excited to see BoxyCharm in my mailbox. This month marks my one year anniversary subscribing, and I still love it as much as I did a year ago when I got my first box.

BoxyCharm March

As always, this is not a sponsored post – it’s just fun to share what I receive in my subscription boxes with you guys. Here’s what arrived for March:

BoxyCharm March Brush and Brow Pencil

Chella Tantalizing Taupe Eyebrow Pencil

This pencil works perfectly for my eyebrows. I generally try to go light with eyebrow products since I really only need to fill in a little, and this works like a charm. Not too heavy, but it makes a difference. Also, it has more of a waxy texture, so it’s not quite like a traditional pencil.

Mistura Retractable Brush

This was a great find for me because I don’t have any retractable brushes in my collection, and I knew I would have some upcoming trips where this would come in handy. I brought this to NY and it was so nice to be able to cover the brush when I wasn’t using it before tossing it into my makeup bag. This will also be coming to Japan with me.

BoxyCharm March Eye Shadows

Makeup Geek Duo Chrome Eye Shadow in I’m Peachless

Of the two eye shadows in this box, I was most excited about this one. I tend to gravitate toward more shimmery, complex colors, rather than solids. This is a very pretty color.

Makeup Geek Matte Eye Shadow in Cocoa Bear

As a matte shade, this is a great compliment to the I’m Peachless shadow. I’ve worn both of them together several times. My only complaint about both is that, much like the banana powder in last month’s BoxyCharm, this is a container-less pan of product. I’m not a fan of that trend. I’m still holding out on buying a palette to put them in.

BoxyCharm March Eye Cream and Perfume

Clark’s Botanicals Anti-Puff Eye Cream

According to BoxyCharm, this product is worth $87! That’s sometimes the magic of BoxyCharm – they send full sized products that are otherwise very expensive. For a $21 box, that’s pretty incredible. According to the directions, this can also be used on smile lines. I always enjoy products that are multi-purpose. I’ve incorporated this into my nightly routine and so far so good!

Catherine Malandrino Style De Paris Perfume

This perfume has a very strong scent, but it reminds me of something I can’t quite put my finger on. An old bath and body works scent? A perfume someone in my family used to wear? I’m not sure, but I do quite like it.

This was another amazing and very high value box for BoxyCharm. There are many items in here that I’ll be using for some time to come.
