Today I’m joining Anne in Residence and Drink the Day for the October Currently Link Up.

cheers-ing …
to the fact that the new office ceiling fan has finally been installed. We had a broken ceiling fan in our home office for approximately a year and a half. With all the craziness of wedding planning, installing the new one fell to the back burner. Well, last weekend D and one of his friends finally put it in and we now have an overhead light in the office again. This is very exciting! I will cheers to this with a glass of wine.

The whole house! I’ve been on an organizing kick lately, focusing in particular on the cabinets and drawers of the house. Right now I’m focusing on the disaster of our office closet, my nightstand, my vanity and underneath the kitchen sink. There have been so many orders coming in from the Container Store, and I’m really excited to see how these projects turn out.

Lately I’ve been dreaming up a slightly new direction for this blog and some other exciting things that go along with it. I’m really excited to put my new ideas into motion. Stay tuned for more on that!

Aside from the aforementioned numerous Container Store hauls, I’ve also been buying lots of planner-related goodies. I recently purchased my new Erin Condren for 2017 as well as a whole lot of Halloween and fall planner stickers. Also, to prep for fall and winter, I’ve been doing some damage at clothing stores – lots of new fall sweaters are now in my possession!

Lately, I’ve been in a bit of a music rut, so I haven’t been listening to much more than my old playlists. Instead, I usually have youtube or the Food Network on in the background while I’m doing other things, so you could say I’m listening to that instead!

Your turn! What are you currently cheersing, organizing, dreaming, buying or listening to?

I am cheersing that my husband is one week post surgery (a surgery that was put off for a bit after his accident) and hopefully reaching an end to his discomfort.

I am organizing my calendar for the coming holidays.

I am dreaming of retirement–not quitting a career, but starting a new phase.

    I am buying Christmas gifts!

I am listening to the quiet morning–the clock ticking, the ice dropping in the freezer, the heater kicking on.
